Most people save letters, photographs, and signed documents. I save the blank form that was meant to hold them.
This cabinet is a small archive of office paper that usually goes into the bin: fax cover sheets, routing slips, memo headers, maintenance pads, incident blanks, and the odd colors of carbonless copy paper. I worked in a small print shop long enough to notice how much thought went into boxes, lines, and spaces that nobody was supposed to admire.
The scans are generic office samples and unused forms. I do not post private records, customer names, or proprietary letterhead. The point is the structure of the paper: how much room a clerk had for a date, where the received stamp landed, whether the pink copy could still be read, and which line disappeared after the third photocopy.
