NCR / carbon-copy paper
Carbonless paper is excellent until someone writes lightly, stores it damp, or expects the pink copy to prove anything ten years later.
Delivery correction set
White / canary / pink. The perforation sits too close to the title on the top sheet.
Sheet order sample
The customer pink is last, which means the lightest impression lands on the person most likely to keep it.
No-staple instruction
Printed because people stapled through live sets. The staple dents show up on every copy.
| Problem | What I note on the scan |
|---|---|
| Registration drift | Boxes do not line up between white and yellow sheets. |
| Weak third copy | Pink text needs a darker scan, but the paper color gets noisy. |
| Perforation tear | Top line may be missing if the tear line was placed too high. |
